Parsha Ki Tavo (When You Enter In)

Galatians {2:20} "I have been crucified with Messiah; it is no longer I who live, but Messiah lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." 2 Corinthians {4:16} "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day." When we look at ourselves in the mirror, we may see a new wrinkle or a new blemish and we judge ourselves by our outward appearance. Often, we also think of ourselves as failures, nobodies, just dust and insignificant in the universal scheme of things. We judge who we are inside by what we think about ourselves on the outside. But do you know that the Bible says we are more than conquerors and that we can do all things through Messiah Yeshua who strengthens us? When we doubt our abilities, it is because we are looking at our flesh and are judging ourselves by what we see. But what we see is not who we are! When we accepted Yeshua as our Savior and the Lord of our lives, the Holy Spirit took up residence in us. Do you understand the implication of this? The power that raised Yeshua from the dead now lives inside of us. God is Spirit and those who come to Him must come in spirit and in truth. If we come before God and express how unworthy we are and how we do not deserve anything, we are insulting the Holy Spirit. It is our flesh that is unworthy not our spirit because the Bible says, speaking about Yeshua; “As He is so are we in this world.” (1 John 4:17). Also, if we are united with Messiah, we are one Spirit with Him. (1 Corinthians 6:17). Do you realize the implication of this? It means that what He did, we can do, what knows we can know. There is nothing beyond our ability and nothing beyond our knowing. We limit ourselves by giving our flesh too much credit. What is the solution? The apostle Paul gives it to us: 1 Corinthians {14:15} "What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the Spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the Spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding." Unlock the power inside of you by ignoring what you see or believe about yourself on the outside and releasing who you have on the inside through both praying in understanding and praying in tongues, God’s heavenly prayer language. Have you seen the film “A Hiding Place”? The author of the book that spurred the film was Corrie Ten Boom. If you are not familiar with her then just Google her name and read on and be blessed. She was a prominent figure during WWII and the Holocaust and was arrested along with her sister for hiding Jews during that sinister time in history. With all that said, what I enjoy most is reading quotes by Corrie Ten Boom. I would like to share some to encourage you in your walk with the Lord. “Discernment is God’s call to intercession, never to faultfinding.” If the Holy Spirit reveals something to you PRAY and don’t CONDEMN. “There is no panic in Heaven! God has no problems, only plans.” It is time to trust in Almighty God for everything in your life! “Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow. It empties today of its strength.” Worrying is a sin, it is not from God nor will it get you anywhere in solving your problems. Give it to God and ask for the wisdom and understanding to be part of the solution and not part of the problem. “There is not a pit so deep that God’s love is not deeper still.” Know this!!! There are no woes in your life that cannot be worked out when you finally and completely surrender your will to God’s will, that is why He is God and you are not! There are so many more for your reading so spend some time with Corrie Ten Boom and be blessed. I would like to end with the following quote and there is no need for any commentary. “Worry is like a rocking chair: It keeps you moving but doesn’t get you anywhere.”
