Parasha Tzav

Ellen and I desire to return to Kenya for the Passover. We would like to assist the congregations there in their Yeshua centered celebration of this Feast. However, God has not yet released us. Please pray for God to speak with us concerning this and for Him to give us His divine direction and provision.

I was encouraged by the response I got from my last week's comment concerning the lie being taught about Yeshua not being God. But I was also saddened by a negative comment and the disclosure that this demonically inspired lie is being circulated among people Ellen and I dearly love. Let's join in prayer against this teaching and may God have mercy on the souls of those spreading it.

Hebrews 6.4-6
4 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age 6 and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

Parasha Vayikra

Sadly there's false teaching being disseminated by Satan, saying that Yeshua came as the Messiah, but that He's not God, not the Father. Their logic may sound right but isn't that the way the devil works? These false teachers use rabbinical teachings and the twisting of Scripture to get weak-minded people to believe their poison. It's just not true! Yeshua Himself confessed that He and the Father are One (Yochanan/John 10:30). He also said; "If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father," (Yochanan 14:8-9). Don't believe these deceived, false teachers; they're teaching a form of human sacrifice. Even though they're claiming Yeshua came as the Messiah of God and therefore is a special human; it's still human sacrifice, something Satan has had mankind fooled into practising throughout the ages, obviously even to this very day!

Parasha Pekudei

Shalom;

I see Israel as being at a very critical juncture in her history at present. Will we turn to the left, to the right or will we hover somewhere between the two? No matter however, because the stage is set for a conflict with our Muslim neighbors. It makes no difference where we turn politically after the next election, there will be no agreement and subsequently no peace. Get ready for a rough ride world in 2020, God is going to shake the foundation of the earth and only the faithful will weather the storm.

Most Israelis we know are enamored with America and everything American. When people find out that Ellen and I were from Miami, they gasp in disbelief that we moved to Israel.

With election season in high gear, Israel has found something else about America they can copy. The Prime-minister is being indited for graft and bribery, while the leader of the party closest in the polls is being accused of sexual harassment. King Solomon was right, "There is nothing new under the sun."

Sermon - Never Underestimate

Shalom and Shavua Tov (Good week); I have heard from a number of people that they didn't receive the last commentary I wrote on Parasha KiTisa. Please let me know if you didn't receive it and I'll send it out to you.

Below is the audio link for a sermon I gave in Kenya. Enjoy.

Parasha KiTisa

B"H (Praise the Lord), Ellen and I arrived home safely. This was an extraordinarily successful missions trip; 18 souls were saved, 13 were immersed and Ellen got to share the Besorah Tovah (Good News) of the Gospel with 14 children, 10 of which confirming that they understood what they were doing. On our return trip we will reaffirm there prayer of salvation and immerse them. These results would have been deaynu (enough), but God give us one more precious gift. During our meeting at the kehila (congregation) in Karatina, a town at the foothills of Mt. Kenya, we met and prayed for Theresa and her husband Judah. Teresa's body was riddled with rheumatoid arthritis. She couldn't use her fingers properly and could hardly walk. Both were members of the cult Church of God Seventh Day, and both received salvation through grace in Yeshua HaMashiach that day (they're counted among the 18). Theresa was prayed over for healing, first by me then by Ellen and lastly by the elders of both congregations (the one in Nairobi and the one in Karatina). We didn't witness any change in her condition at the time. The next day I received this Whats App message.

"Today I managed to visit the woman who was sick last Sunday. I was so happy to see her walking on her own.... She confessed how she was healed and in every part of her body we touched she was free of pain"

What an awesome God we serve. In addition to this week's D'var Torah I have attached a picture of Theresa. Those who participated with us in prayer and financial help have a share in everything that took place in Kenya and there was more. We're preparing a PowerPoint presentation which I will share with you when it's done.

Shalom and blessings from Kenya. God has given us a glorious time of ministry. The congregations here are so blessed by our visit and they can't get enough teaching. The Lord has also opened the door for us to meet the pastors of a local Pentecostal congregation and we had great fellowship and discussion with them. They are so hungry for the Messianic perspective of the scriptures. Sadly due to the limited time we're here our focus has to be with the groups we established, perhaps another time, God willing. There are also many false prophets and teachers here claiming to be Christians and leading many astray. Poverty is rampant and these charlatans are sucking what little the people have while they lavish in luxury.

So far we have had 18 salvations and have officiated over 13 immersions. I have attached a few pictures and will send more when were back in Israel.

Please pray for Kenya, corruption is a way of life. Also please pray for the Messianic congregations, they are precious people hungry for teaching. Also please pray for them to find a permanent meeting place and for the finances they will need to acquire a place; they are financially needy and many do not have jobs. However, they are all well kept and their children are well cared for. It's amazing how much they can do with so little. Lastly please pray for Ellen and me. We need God's help, support and direction.

Baruch HaShem (Praise the Lord) we're off in the morning. Looking forward to what the Lord has waiting for us in Kenya. We'll do our best to keep you posted of our progress. You're prayers will do much to sustain us.

I am sending out this week's D'var Torah early in the event that I will not be able to do it from Kenya until everything is set up.

Parasha Mishpatim

Ellen and I are doing final preparation for our mission trip to Kenya. We leave Wednesday morning and are looking forward to a successful time of teaching, preaching, counseling, ministering and anything else The Lord brings us to do. I can't say that things have been easy, the devil has tried his best to stop us from travelling, unsuccessfully however; all glory be to God. Please continue to support us and the two congregations we'll be serving in prayer. The victory is The Lord's. God willing I'll continue to send out the D'var Torah's each week from Kenya. Thank you for your support, it is so much appreciated. May The Lord strengthen you from Zion and may He grant you your heart's desire.

Sermon - All You Need is Love

Shavua Tov (Good Week). Below is a link to another sermon I shared with our congregations in Kenya on Shabbat. Let me know if you have trouble opening it.

Parasha Beshalach

Our heart and prayers go out to those that were injured in the Kenyan terror attack, May God grant them a speedy recovery and show them His Salvation. We also pray for the families and friends of those that lost their lives. May the God of all comfort, comfort them and show them His Salvation. Finally we pray for those that were spared and rescued. Open their eyes Lord that they may come to salvation before it's too late. Let this tragic experience speak to their hearts, show them the frailty of live and move them to seek You Lord.

Sadly we in Israel are not strangers to terror and have to deal with it daily. May God save our enemies and bring them peace. Come quickly Lord Yeshua redeem us and all of Israel from our troubles.

Parasha Bo

Parasha Vaera

Shalom and Blessings; As we get closer and closer in the final countdown and God's "Fulness of Time," Satan is cranking up his salvation stealing lies. One lie in his arsenal of lies used against Messianic congregations and Believers, is that Yeshua is not God but rather a prophet. If Yeshua is not God, who came to earth as a human-being to pay the price of our sin, die, be buried and resurrected from the dead on the third day, then we're all not saved and are destined for Hell! BUT Yeshua is God in the flesh and the Scriptures confirm it, both in the Tenach (Hebrew Scriptures) and the Brit Chadasha (Renewed Covenant). Proclaim it boldly, affirm it in your life and be saved!!
